Helmets to Hardhats Canada® (H2H)

H2H has been incorporated in Canada as a Not for Profit Organization. It is similar to its sister H2H program in the United States, but is designed to provide an opportunity in Canada for anyone who has served (or is currently serving and looking to transition to a civilian career) in either the Regular or Reserve Force Components of the Canadian Forces. Veterans Emergency Transition Services – Ground Support for Veterans

Working within the community, VETS Canada members attempt to move veterans from the streets or shelters into affordable housing (if available). VeteranVoice.info (VVi) exists to help keep all veterans and Canadian Armed Forces members, soldiers, sailors, air personnel, and their families informed. Soldiers Helping Soldiers

Veterans Food Drive

Since 2007, the Canadian Legacy Project has presented the Annual Veterans Food Drive in support of the Veterans Food Bank and the Calgary Poppy Fund. The support we’ve received from the Calgary community has been amazing and we’ve successfully filled two warehouses with food at the Calgary Veterans Food Bank annually, which equates to roughly $300,000 in food donations. As a part of this fundraising initiative we also receive cash donations which are used to purchase Calgary Co-Op food cards which veterans can use to purchase fresh produce, meats, and pharmaceutical products. https://www.canadianlegacy.org/veterans-fooddrive/

Mental Health First Aid

Mental Health First Aid is the help provided to a person developing a mental health problem, experiencing the worsening of an existing mental health problem or in a mental health crisis. Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing Canada: Helping military veterans heal through fly fishing, fly tying and fellowship

Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing Canada seeks to bring a high-quality fly fishing and fly-tying program to Veteran members of the Canadian Military Services. These veterans are clearly in need of rehabilitation and healing as a result of their service. Veteran Farm Project

We are a group of veterans who found ourselves transitioning from the Canadian Armed Forces and no access to environmental rehabilitation type programs. We decided to take action and help other veterans gain access to the health benefits of being in nature. We have created The Veteran Farm Project to give all veterans the experience of nature through horticulture programs. The Canadian Legacy Project has partnered with GoodLife Fitness to offer retired Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) personnel (whom have been honourably discharged and are no longer serving) fitness memberships to any GoodLife Fitness location across Canada. CAF Veterans are eligible to obtain the VET FIT annual membership for an exclusive rate of $299.00, plus applicable taxes (valued at over $800.00). The Invictus Games Foundation
