As part of the UBIQUE 150 celebrations, the Royal Regiment of Canadian Artillery School (RCAS) was keen to recognize the legacy of great gunners. The classrooms of our two flagship courses, the instructor in Gunnery (IG) course and the Assistant Instructor in Gunnery (AIG) course were designated as MGen T.B. Strange Room for the IG Course and SSgt W. Jordan Room for the AIG Course Room.
Dans le cadre des célébrations UBIQUE 150, l’École du Régiment royal de l’Artillerie canadienne (ÉARC) a tenu à souligner l’héritage laissé par de grands artilleurs. Ainsi, les salles de classes de nos deux cours phares, le cours d’instructeur en artillerie (IA) ainsi que celui d’Assistant instructeur en artillerie(AIA) ont été désignées comme étant la salle MGen T.B. Strange pour le cours d’IA et la salle SSgt W. Jordan pour la salle du cours d’AIA.
Nijmegen March – July 20-23, 2021
Due to the cancellation of the Nijmegen event in the Netherlands again this year, 4 Regt (GS) conducted our own march in New Brunswick as part of UBIQUE 150 celebrations, coinciding with the event in the Netherlands.
Who: 12 marchers 4 Regt (GS) and 1 member from the RCAS
What: 4x 40km marches to mark Nijmegen celebrations domestically
Where: Southern New Brunswick (Leg 1: St. John to Pocologan, Leg 2: Pocologan to St. George, Leg 3: St. George to St. Andrew’s, Leg 4: St. Andrew’s to St. Stephen)
Why: To continue the tradition of Nijmegen celebrations within COVID-19 limitations and to tie the significance of the event to the history of the RCA and overall UBIQUE 150 celebrations.
The 4 Regt (GS) Nijmegen team succesfully completed their four-day journey, culminating in 160km along the Atlantic Coast of New Brunswick. Here are all the places they went to:

Marche de Nimègue – 20-23 juillet, 2021
Puisque que la Marche Nimègue à été annulé encore une fois cette année, le 4 Regt (AG) a exécuté leur propre marche afin de souligner l’événement et les célébration UBIQUE 150.
Qui : 12 marcheurs du 4 Regt (AG) et 1 membre de l’ÉARC
Quoi : 4 marches de 40 km pour souligner la marche annuelle de Nimègue
Où : 1er; St. John à Pocologan. 2e; Pocologan à St. George. 3e; St. George à St. Andrew’s. 4e; St. Andrew’s à St. Stephen.
Pourquoi : Poursuivre la tradition des célébrations de Nimègue dans les limites de COVID-19 et lier l’importance de l’événement à l’histoire de l’ARC et aux célébrations générales d’UBIQUE 150.
L’équipe Nimègue du 4 Regt (AG) a complété une marche de quatre jours, culminant à 160 km le long de la côte atlantique du Nouveau-Brunswick. Voici les lieux qu’ils ont passés sur leur chemin:

The UBIQUE 150 commemorative coin (065) was presented to Sgt Peter Lawrence in recognition of his involvement in multiples project related to the celebrations of UBIQUE 150 at the Royal Regiment of Canadian Artillery School (RCAS). While the unit was facing challenges as far as carrying out various projects, Sgt Lawrence took the lead on multiple of these projects so that the unit could proudly highlight the celebrations surrounding UBIQUE 150.
La pièce commémorative UBIQUE 150 (065) a été remise au Sgt Peter Lawrence en reconnaissance de sa participation à de multiples projets liés aux célébrations UBIQUE 150 à l’École du Régiment royal de l’Artillerie canadienne (ÉARC). Alors que l’unité était confrontée à des défis dans la réalisation de divers projets, le Sgt Lawrence a pris la tête de plusieurs de ces projets afin que l’unité puisse fièrement souligner les célébrations entourant UBIQUE 150.
The UBIQUE 150 coin has been awarded to members of The Regimental Family or Friends of The Regiment in recognition of exceptional contributions to the success of the Anniversary celebration or to the well-being of The Royal Regiment.
La pièce UBIQUE 150 est décernée par la haute direction et les équipes de commandement de l’ARC pour les raisons suivantes les contributions faites à UBIQUE 150 en particulier, ou la promotion de la famille régimentaire dans son ensemble.
The UBIQUE 150 commemorative coin (066) waspresented to Ms. Jaclyn Forbes in recognition of her involvement in the realization of the barrel tables that the Royal Canadian Artillery School (RCAS) has carried out on behalf of the Royal Canadian Artillery Association (RCAA).
While the unit was looking for staff to complete this project, Mrs Forbes, Bdr Mann Forbes’ spouse, seized the opportunity to confirm that when we are part of the great Canadian Gunners families we can always make a difference. She volunteered and graciously offered many hours to complete the project.
La pièce commémorative UBIQUE 150 (066) a été remise à Mme Jaclyn Forbes en reconnaissance de sa participation à la réalisation des tables que l’École du Régiment royal de l’Artillerie canadienne (ÉARC) a réalisées pour le compte de L’Association de l’Artillerie royale canadienne (AARC). Alors que l’unité cherchait du personnel pour mener à bien ce projet, Mme Forbes, l’épouse du bdr Mann Forbes, a saisi l’occasion pour confirmer que lorsque nous faisons partie de la grande famille d’artilleurs canadiens, nous pouvons toujours faire une différence. Elle s’est portée volontaire et a gracieusement offert de nombreuses heures pour terminer le projet.
