Gunner History – World War II
The Royal Canadian Artillery Association is working on a project to digitize the history books of the Canadian Artillery Regiments that were formed during the Second World War. Many of these were printed in the Netherlands at the end of the war and others need to be created from the unit War Diaries.
Thanks to Honorary Colonel John Ducker we have a large collection of photocopied accounts. The project requires volunteers willing to convert these and edit other somewhat legible documents to a digital format. The reward is discovering the names and the stories of those that served the guns during the Second World War. Their stories need to be remembered.
